San Gimignano, Italy
It's been one of those Italian summer days, the sun's been beating down on the medieval town of San Gimignano. Perched perfectly on a painterly tuscan hill. It's around 6, the relentless heat of the sun is starting to fade into a more pleasant temperature. As we stroll through the streets surrounding the busy town center, we come across a garage turned shop. The hum of a fridge, the chattering of 2 old friends at the counter.
After leaving with 2 heavenly cold cans, we find ourselves a patch of sun on the town's walls overlooking the tuscan hills.
I look outside the studio, it's started to rain again. It's February, in Amsterdam, but as I adjust the light, and in photoshop add my clouds to a perfectly sterile blue sky, it feels like I'm somewhere else.
